What we do, and how we work
We take on about twelve projects a year. Most combine identity with something people use every day: a pack, a sign, a website or an app.
Six disciplines
One team, from the name to the website
Brand identity
We design identities from the name down to the price card. Concepts are shown on real applications from the start, so decisions are made on how things will look in use, not on a logo floating on a white page.
- Logo and wordmark
- Type and colour
- Brand guidelines
- Templates
- Art direction
Naming
We name companies, products and places. Every name we present has passed pronunciation, meaning, domain and trademark checks, with a formal search by an attorney before you see the shortlist.
- Naming criteria
- Long list
- Language checks
- Trademark screening
- Shortlist with rationale
Packaging and print
We design packaging and printed matter around production: how it’s filled, labelled, shipped and reordered. We work with printers we know and visit the press for anything that matters.
- Packaging systems
- Labels
- Annual reports
- Editorial design
- Print management
Wayfinding and signage
We survey the site, watch how people move through it and size every sign for walking speed. Full-size mock-ups go up for testing before anything is fabricated.
- Site surveys
- Sign families
- Placement plans
- Fabrication drawings
- Pilot testing
- Installation support
Websites and shops
We design and build fast, static websites and online shops, usually on Astro, with content structured so your team can update it without us.
- Content design
- Web design
- Front-end development
- CMS setup
- Performance and accessibility testing
Products and design systems
We design portals, apps and internal tools, test them with the people who will use them, and leave behind a design system sized for the team that has to maintain it.
- User research
- Product design
- Prototyping
- Design systems
- Accessibility audits
- Team handover
How a project runs
Brief
A half-day session at your place, where we write the brief together. You leave with a one-page brief that everyone who decides has agreed to.
Concepts
Two or three directions, each shown on real applications. We present in person or on a call, never by sending a PDF and waiting.
Development
The chosen direction worked out across everything in scope, with regular reviews and working files you can see at any point.
Launch and handover
Final files, guidelines and production support. We stay on for the first weeks after launch to fix what only shows up in use.

Questions we get asked
What does a project cost?
Our day rate is €920, the same for everyone in the studio, and we quote a fixed fee for each phase. A small identity usually costs €14,000 to €22,000, a full identity with packaging or signage €35,000 to €60,000, and a website between €18,000 and €45,000. Printing, fabrication and font licences are quoted separately.
How long does it take?
A small identity takes about eight weeks, a full identity three to five months, and a website two to four months. Wayfinding for a large site can take a year or more, mostly because of fabrication and installation. We can sometimes go faster by adding people, and we’ll tell you what that costs.
Do you work with clients outside the Netherlands and Portugal?
Yes, about a third of our clients are elsewhere in Europe. We do the briefing session and key presentations in person, and the rest on calls and in shared files. For signage and packaging we visit the site or the printer at least once.
Who owns the files at the end?
You do. When the final invoice is paid, you own the rights to the work we made for you, and you get the working files as well as the exports. Font licences are bought in your name, so they stay with you if you move on from us.
Do you offer retainers?
Yes, in blocks of days per month, from two days upwards, at the same day rate. Unused days roll over for one month. Most retainer clients use us for new packaging, campaign work or ongoing changes to a website or product.
Do you take on small projects?
Yes. A poster, a set of shop signs or a report cover is quoted at a fixed price after a short call. The smallest project we did this year cost €1,800. Small jobs are often how longer relationships start.

A few lines are enough: what you’re making, who it’s for and when it needs to be ready. We’ll reply within two working days.
